Why does nobody talk about how dumb water crossings are on the Rae Lakes loop in June
Did the Rae Lakes loop two summers back in June and the crossings at Woods Creek were waist deep and moving fast, way worse than the guidebooks make it sound. Waited until August the next time and it was knee high and chill, same route, totally different trip. Anyone else plan their whole route around when the snowmelt peaks instead of just picking dates?
