I showed up 40 minutes late on a Tuesday and nobody even noticed

So last Tuesday I rolled into the office at 9:40 when I'm supposed to be there at 9, and my manager was in a meeting all morning so nobody said a word. I sat there for like 20 minutes just staring at my screen feeling guilty, then realized half my team does this all the time and I'm the only one stressing about it. The whole week actually went like that, I left at 4:30 three days in a row and still got my stuff done. Now I'm wondering if I've been playing myself this whole time by showing up early and staying late. Has anyone else had that moment where you figure out the rules are way looser than you thought?
