Worked at a warehouse in Tulsa for two years and my shift lead told me to stop wearing gloves while breaking down pallets because it slowed me down. I listened for about a week until a splintered board caught my hand and I needed 6 stitches in my thumb. He never even looked at the injury report, just asked why the pallet line backed up. Has anyone else had a boss push you to cut corners that ended badly?
Boss at the warehouse in Memphis said just initial the checklist without actually checking the pallet racks, and when one gave way on Thursday the OSHA guy found my forged signature and now I'm the one facing the fine, has anyone else been thrown under the bus by a manager who gave bad advice?
