Can we talk about how 'The Room' actually gets the feeling of a weird dream right
I mean, the dialogue is so stilted and the plot jumps around like my brain does when I'm half asleep, which for some reason I find kind of comforting and real in a way polished movies aren't.

Read somewhere that Tommy Wiseau said he wrote it to feel like a Tennessee Williams play gone wrong.

Yeah that makes a weird kind of sense, @logan705. Like if you tried to do a southern gothic drama but all the actors only read the script once.

Nah I don't really buy that dream comparison. To me it just feels like a badly made movie, full stop. The weirdness comes from mistakes, not some clever plan.
