Hot take: Freddy Got Fingered is a masterpiece and my whole film club walked out on me
I showed Freddy Got Fingered at our movie night in my garage two Saturdays ago and three of the five guys left before the halfway point. One of them, Dave, literally stood up during the sausage scene and said he was going home to rethink his life choices. But here is my thing, the movie is supposed to make you uncomfortable, that is the whole joke, and Tom Green committed to it in a way nobody else would dare to. I keep telling them the deer scene alone is better than most comedies from that same summer, but nobody will hear me out. Is there a single other person out there who defends this one, or am I truly alone on this hill?
