I finally watched Waterworld after avoiding it for 20 years
Everyone I know says it's a disaster, but I sat down with a six pack last Friday and honestly, it's not that bad. The boat scenes are actually cool and Dennis Hopper hams it up so hard it makes the whole thing fun. My buddy in Denver still refuses to rewatch it, but I'd put it above The Postman any day. It got torn apart in 1995 for its budget, but the sets and stunts still hold up today. Does anyone else have a movie you skipped for years and then found yourself defending to friends?
