I've watched Freddy Got Fingered 14 times and I can explain why it's actually genius
Most people walked out of this movie or turned it off in the first 20 minutes, and I get it. But I've sat through Freddy Got Fingered 14 times now (yes, I counted, my roommate thinks I need help) and every single time I catch something new in the background or a joke that lands differently. Tom Green basically tricked a studio into funding a $14 million prank on the entire concept of what a movie is supposed to be. The scene where he swings a baby around by its umbilical cord isn't just gross for shock value, it's him daring you to keep watching and see if there's a punchline. There isn't one, and that's the whole point. Has anybody else given this one a real shot past the first half hour, or am I truly alone in this?
