Okay, hear me out on 'The Room' from 2003

I watched it with a group in Chicago last month, and we all agreed it's a terrible movie by any normal measure. But the weird, earnest way Tommy Wiseau delivers lines like 'you are tearing me apart, Lisa' makes it feel like a strange, honest art project. It's so bad it becomes a fun group experience, and I've never laughed that hard at a drama. Anyone else have a movie that's so wrong it's right?

Yeah, I used to think those movies were just bad... but the group experience changes everything. It's not about the film itself, it's about the shared reaction it creates. That weird energy makes it its own kind of art.

Oh man, my buddy dragged me to a midnight showing of "Troll 2". The whole theater was shouting at the screen, especially during that weird popcorn scene. It was a complete mess of a film, but sharing that awful experience with a crowd made it one of the funniest nights ever.

But is it really art, though?
