Saw a post hating on The Room for bad acting but that movie is way more entertaining than half the polished stuff on Netflix right now
Everyone keeps saying Tommy Wiseau can't act but I watched that movie with my buddies last Friday and we were laughing harder than any comedy from this year, has anyone else actually enjoyed it unironically?

Wait hold up, you're telling me people actually take The Room seriously? That movie is a masterpiece of terrible acting and I don't care what anyone says. My roommate tried to watch it alone and gave up after ten minutes saying it hurt his brain, but we watched it with a group and had to pause it every few minutes because we couldn't breathe from laughing. The weird sex scenes alone are worth the price of admission, like who writes that stuff and thinks it's good. It's like Tommy Wiseau came from another planet where soap operas are high art and nobody told him the rules of human conversation.

Right? It's like you have to watch it with other people or it short-circuits your brain. My friends and I did the same thing, we were crying laughing at the "you're tearing me apart, Lisa!" scene and rewound it like five times.

Honestly I'm still stuck on that part about Tommy Wiseau coming from another planet where soap operas are high art, @susana66 you hit the nail on the head with that rewatching the Lisa scene thing because my buddies and I did the exact same thing last weekend and it honestly killed us. Ngl the sex scenes are just straight up bizarre like who films that and thinks yeah this is how humans act, it's like he watched one scene from Days of Our Lives and decided to build a whole movie around it. That movie is pure chaos in the best way possible and I'll defend it against anyone who says it's just bad.
