The $60 zombie movie that made me root for the zombies
I picked up a Blu-ray of 'Zombie Flesh Eaters 3: Revenge of the Rot' at a pawn shop for $60 because the cover art was awesome. Turned out the plot is literally 90 minutes of people arguing about who left the generator off while zombies shuffle around in the background. The acting is so bad that I actually found myself cheering for the zombies to win just so the movie would end sooner. My buddy and I watched it last Saturday and we still quote the line 'That's not my leg' at each other, it's the only good part. Has anyone else paid real money for a movie so awful that it became a fun memory? If you have a worse one, I need to know I'm not alone in this.
Man, I feel this in my bones. My cousin and I dropped $40 on a DVD called "Sharkenstein" once, and it was so broken that the shark had like five seconds of screen time total. We still yell "the legs are the bait" at each other for no reason, years later. There's something magical about a movie being so bad that it turns into a shared joke, you know? That $60 is basically a ticket to a private comedy show that only you and your buddy get. Honestly, I'd say you got a bargain.
