Unpopular opinion: the banana peel gag in that gross-out comedy got me through a breakup in Denver
I skipped that movie for 2 years because the trailer looked dumb, but my roommate put it on during a rough week in Denver and I laughed harder than I had in months. Anyone got a hated comedy that actually hit for them at the right time?

Watched a dumb comedy after a bad week too and yeah it helped for a night. But calling a banana peel joke the thing that got you through a breakup feels like a stretch. The movie was probably just an excuse to laugh with your roommate instead of sitting alone in your head. That part makes sense, the joke itself not so much.
