The "polite" sticky note war that went 14 rounds, then a dish sponge got involved
My roommate kept leaving half eaten bowls of ramen on the coffee table. Gross, but not nuclear. So I put a sticky note on the bowl saying "please rinse me." He left a note back saying "you're not my mom." That started a full week where we only communicated through notes on his dirty dishes. Round 14 was about a crusty pan he hid under the couch cushions. I finally bought a pack of cheap sponges and glued one to his bedroom door with a note saying "use me on your face, then the pan." He actually laughed, cleaned the whole kitchen, and we're cool now. Has anyone else accidentally started a non-verbal war over dishes?
