My grandma's hand crank sifter vs my $30 electric one, and she was right all along
Spent 6 months fighting with an electric flour sifter I got off Amazon for $30. Thing clogged every time I did a double batch of biscuits and I ended up using a whisk anyway. Dug out my grandma's old hand crank one from a box in the garage last weekend, dated 1987 on the bottom. Took 40 seconds to sift 4 cups and no clogging at all. She passed in 2019 and I never asked her why she refused to switch to electric. Now I feel dumb for not just using it sooner. Anybody else got an old tool that just works better than the new stuff?
