Book club spent $120 on a 'deep dive' guide that was just Wikipedia printouts

Half the pages were Wikipedia articles we could have printed for free at the library, and the rest was just chapter summaries with typos. How do you all handle it when someone drops real cash on study aids that turn out to be junk?
