Hit page 200 in a book I hated, best thing that happened to our club

Everyone else wanted to ditch 'The Midnight Library' at page 80 because it felt too neat, but I pushed us to read to the halfway mark. Turns out the debate about whether the ending betrayed the premise got way spicier than the book itself. Has any other group stuck with a dud just to argue about it harder?
