Hot take: Our old read-along sessions had real passion behind them

I miss when we'd dig into stories and clash over meanings face to face. These days, most chats feel rushed and surface level. Back then, we even kept journals just to track our talking points.

Remember my journal full of UNNECESSARY notes?

What made you decide those notes were unnecessary? Like, did you have a moment where you looked at it all and thought why did I even write this? My own notebooks are filled with stuff that seemed big at the time but now means nothing. Curious if you found any patterns or just pure randomness.

Flip through those old pages and ask yourself if any of it matters now. I mean, half the stuff I wrote down was just me overthinking tiny problems. Idk, maybe it's just me but I find most of it pretty random, not some deep pattern. We tend to think everything we do is important when it's happening, but later it's just paper. So yeah, questioning why we wrote it is part of the fun, not a serious crisis.
