Isn't there a saying about not judging a book by its cover? Well, maybe we should when the cover looks like it was made in MS Paint. I've picked up books with awful covers and found great stories inside, but it's like they're trying to hide it. Your book club might hate it, but you're just saving time by skipping the ugly ones. Sometimes a bad cover is the author's cry for help.
