Why does nobody warn you that a strict 20 min break rule can get you written up over a bathroom line?

Honestly I had to choose between clocking back in on time or waiting in a 6 person line at the only bathroom in the depot. I picked the bathroom and got flagged for a 12 min overage on my break, which put me one strike from a write up. Tbh the rule sounds fair on paper but nobody talks about what it actually costs when you follow it to the letter. Ngl I have started timing my bathroom stops before I even clock out now and it has saved me twice already. Has anyone else dealt with a policy that punishes you for basic body stuff?
