Noticed a huge shift in my sleep after dropping caffeine for 2 weeks straight

I gave up coffee and soda cold turkey at the start of the month. By day 5 I was waking up before my alarm feeling rested, which never happened before. Turns out I was drinking like 400mg of caffeine daily just to feel normal. Has anyone else seen that kind of change after cutting something out?

Tbh going cold turkey on 400mg is pretty hardcore. I bet your body was just so used to running on that artificial energy that it forgot what real rest felt like.

400mg is a lot, and quitting that fast can make you feel awful for weeks until your body relearns how to function without it.
