PSA: My neighbor's inflatable dinosaur keeps staring into my kitchen window

It's been up for weeks and I'm starting to feel judged by a plastic T-Rex. Do I just live with this or is it okay to ask them to move it?

Have you thought about casually bringing it up next time you see them? I dealt with a similar thing when my neighbor's Halloween skeleton seemed to glare into my living room... it's weird how plastic eyes can feel so judging. Just knock on their door and say something light, like "Hey, your dinosaur is hilarious but it's kind of staring me down while I cook." Most folks are nice about it and will just shift it a little. Honestly, living with that silent judgment isn't worth the stress.

Wait, you said plastic eyes can feel judging and now I can't unsee it. That's actually way creepier than just a giant dinosaur! How does something with painted-on eyeballs manage to look so disappointed in my life choices? I'd have to ask them to turn it, because every time I burnt my toast I'd feel like it was silently judging my cooking skills too. Some neighbor things you just can't ignore.

At this point I'd start leaving apology notes taped to my window. My self-esteem can't handle a prehistoric side-eye from lawn decor.
