The "free" inspection guy in Tulsa tried to scare my mom into a $4,800 job
I was at my mom's place in Tulsa last Tuesday when a guy knocked on the door offering a free attic and crawlspace check. He came down after 15 minutes holding a photo of some dark wood and said the whole back half was rotted and she needed to sign today. I actually do this for a living, so I asked to see the spot myself, and it was just an old water stain on a joist. He packed up fast and left when I pulled out my flashlight. How do you all get your parents to run these offers past you before they sign anything?
