Watched my neighbor pressure wash his deck yesterday... complete disaster

He used a nozzle too narrow and gouged grooves into every single board. Took him six hours and it looks worse than when he started. Has anyone else seen someone wreck something simple with too much power?

Oh man, I watched my buddy try to clean his driveway with one of those little electric pressure washers and he just blasted a line straight through the asphalt. It took him forever and now there's a permanent groove right down the middle. People really underestimate how much damage a little nozzle change can do.

A 2000 PSI unit would barely tickle that asphalt unless he was using a zero-degree tip.

My buddy did the exact same thing to his parents' deck last summer with a 2500 PSI unit and a zero-degree tip, turned a nice cedar surface into a furry mess. Makes you cringe just watching it happen, right?
