I bought a cheap power bank that died after two weeks
Grabbed a '10,000mAh' power bank from a discount store for $12. It worked fine for a bit, then just stopped holding any charge at all. I lost the $12 and had to buy a real one anyway. Anyone know a good brand that actually lasts?

Had a cheap charger melt my car's USB port once.

Oh wow, @ben206, my buddy had that happen too and the whole console smelled like burnt plastic for weeks.
