I saw a line of people at the Goodwill in Springfield that made me think twice about 'cheap' stuff

Went there last Tuesday around 3 PM and the line for the checkout was almost out the door. I heard a guy in front of me tell his friend he drove 20 miles just for this store because the one near him raised prices. It hit me that 'budget' isn't just about the price tag, it's about the time and gas money people spend to find those deals. Has anyone else noticed their local thrift spots getting more crowded?

That Goodwill line is wild! My local Salvation Army has gotten so packed on weekends they had to start a queue for the fitting rooms. Saw a lady last month with a whole cart full of vintage denim jackets, said she resells them online. Makes you wonder where all the stuff is even coming from lately.
