That $40 air fryer from Amazon died after 3 months

Picked up a no-name air fryer off Amazon back in September for $40. Worked fine for about 12 weeks, then the heating element started sparking last Tuesday while I was cooking chicken. Had to toss it immediately and now I'm stuck using the oven again until I figure out a replacement. Anyone else had luck with a specific brand under $60 that actually lasts?

7, I had a Gourmia crapped out after 4 months but their warranty actually replaced it for free. Might be worth checking the return window on yours, some Amazon sellers will refund if you bug them enough.

Huh, I guess that's something but calling in a warranty claim that fast seems like a hassle to me. Four months is pretty quick for something to give out, even if they did make it right. I'd probably just move on and try a different brand rather than deal with the back and forth.
