That $60 hydroponic kit I bought grew nothing but white mold

Spent 60 bucks on a little indoor hydroponic setup from a random website six weeks ago. Followed every step to the letter, seeds never even sprouted, just got this nasty white fuzz all over the sponge things. Customer service ghosted me after one email. Anybody else get burned by those cheap grow-your-own kits?

I'm sorry you had to deal with that, it's a real shame when you put in the effort and get nothing back but mold. Those cheap kits seem to be hit or miss, and it sounds like yours was a definite miss. Customer service disappearing like that just adds insult to injury.

Oh I don't know, sometimes you get what you pay for with those cheap kits and at least they were trying to help. And honestly a little mold is no big deal, just scrub it off and move on.
