Why does nobody talk about how Target tricked me into spending more
I went to Target in Columbus, Ohio last Tuesday just for dish soap. Walked out $47 lighter because they moved all the cheap stuff to the back corner. Had to pass through the snack aisle and the clearance section and some new home decor display. Has anyone else noticed they hide the budget stuff on purpose or am I just easy to distract?

Used to roll my eyes at this stuff but now I see it too.

Walked in for toothpaste once and ended up buying a throw pillow I didn't even know I wanted... they had it right there next to the clearance endcap and I just grabbed it without thinking. My cart was full of stuff like that and I don't even remember picking half of it up. Dish soap? Forget about it, you gotta hike through three different departments just to find the store brand. I'm pretty sure they design those aisles to make your brain shut off the second you walk past the snacks... and it works every single time for me.

Isn't it funny how that dish soap aisle just happens to be a mile walk from the front door now? They know what they're doing.
