Had to pick between a hostel in Lisbon or sleeping in the airport for a night
Last month I had a super early flight out of Lisbon at 6am and couldn't decide if I should drop $30 on a hostel dorm bed or just crash at the airport. I went with the airport option because I figured I'd only get a few hours of sleep anyway and $30 is a whole day's food budget. Turns out the sleeping area near gate 12 has these weird padded benches that are actually decent if you have a neck pillow. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep but woke up groggy and a little stiff. Has anyone else tried sleeping at the Lisbon airport and found a better spot than gate 12?
