Hostel vs Airbnb for a 2 week trip through Portugal - which really saved more?
I stayed in hostels in Lisbon for $25 a night and Airbnbs in Porto for $45 a night. The hostel gave me free breakfast and walking tours, but the Airbnb had a kitchen where I cooked dinners. Total cost came out pretty close, like within $50 over the whole trip. What's your go-to for sleeping cheap in Europe?

I used to be all about hostels but this actually changed my mind on Airbnbs.
