Ngl, my cheap flight hack for work trips accidentally turned me into the office travel agent, and I'm not complaining.

Yeah, learned that one the hard way with my own 'pro tip' era.

But is this really a win, or just more unpaid labor disguised as a perk? I've seen similar situations where sharing a travel tip turns into managing everyone's itineraries and troubleshooting their delays. Suddenly, you're the go-to person for every flight change or hotel complaint, which can eat into your actual work time. It might seem helpful now, but wait until you're blamed for a cancelled flight or a bad hotel review. Sure, it feels good to be needed, but is that worth the extra hassle? Sometimes keeping those hacks to yourself preserves your sanity and professional boundaries.

Thought sharing was cool, but @abby326's post changed my mind.
