Tried booking a hotel in Prague two different ways
I needed a place for three nights and checked the hotel's own site first. It was 90 euros a night. Then I looked on a booking site that had a 'pay at the property' option for the same room, and it was 75. The difference was just paying later, which saved me 45 euros total. Has anyone else found that paying later is sometimes cheaper than paying up front?

Yeah, I see that all the time. I booked a rental car last month where paying at the counter was almost twenty bucks cheaper than paying online right away. It makes no sense, but I'll take the discount.

@terry_lewis21 is right sometimes though I always check both options before paying just in case.

Actually, paying at the counter is usually more expensive, so that's a weird but lucky find.
