A guy in line at Target said my coupon stack was 'too much work'

I was checking out at the Target on Broadway in Nashville with like 14 coupons, mostly small ones for dish soap and cereal, and this older dude behind me goes 'you're burning more time than you're saving.' I mean sure, it took maybe 8 minutes total, but I walked out paying $23.17 instead of $41.50 for the same cart. Some people just don't see the fun in the game, but has anyone else had strangers judge their coupon process mid-checkout?
