I finally gave in to meal prepping after 8 years of hating it
I used to think meal prepping was just for fitness nuts and people with zero social life, but after spending $340 on takeout in one week last month I decided to try it with just lunches. Turns out cooking 3 big batches of chili and stir fry on Sunday saves me about $45 a week and I actually eat healthier. Has anyone else found a system that works for breakfast too without getting bored?

$340 on takeout in one week is kind of wild though. That sounds more like a food delivery addiction than a meal prep problem. I just bring leftovers from dinner the night before and it works fine for breakfast too without all that Sunday cooking.

My sister started making these egg muffin things in a silicone tray, cooks them up on Sunday and just grabs two every morning. She throws in different stuff like bacon bits or cheese or spinach so it doesn't get boring. I tried it once and burned the whole batch because I forgot to grease the pan, plus my cat jumped on the counter and knocked half of them onto the floor.
