I finally saw what aggressive couponing looks like in person

I went to WinCo last Saturday morning and this lady in front of me had a binder full of coupons. She was buying 30 boxes of granola bars and 20 things of toothpaste. Her total came to $240 something but after all her coupons she paid like $12. I was just standing there with my bag of apples and a rotisserie chicken feeling silly. It got me thinking about how much I could save if I actually planned my shopping like that. Has anyone else tried to get into extreme couponing and hit a wall with the time it takes?

That bit about her total being $240 but paying $12 sounds off to me coupons usually don't stack that deep on most store policies, especially at WinCo.

Yeah, they invented a coupon stacking machine or something.
