Just realized my coffee habit cost me $1,200 last year after running the numbers on a budgeting app

I added up every $5 latte and coffee shop pastry from 2023 using YNAB and almost choked. Anybody else shocked by how much small daily stuff actually adds up over a year?

$1,200 on coffee is wild but honestly that's like 240 lattes and I'm not sure if I'm more shocked by the math or the fact that you actually tracked it that long.

240 lattes is like 4 months of caffeine for me, not 12. @hayden_butler27 I think the real shocker is that you somehow didn't get sick of the same drink by latte #50. I can't even commit to one coffee order for a week straight without switching it up.

240 lattes over what timeframe though? If that's a whole year I'm way less impressed. People drop that on a weekend trip to the mountains and nobody blinks.
