My sister told me her family saves $400 a month on groceries by never buying anything on the inner aisles and I'm torn between thinking that's genius or a complete waste of time.
She basically lives off produce, meat, and dairy from the perimeter of the store but I can't give up my boxed mac and cheese and frozen pizzas for the sake of a bigger savings goal, so is anyone else caught between convenience and cutting the budget that hard or do I just need to commit and see if the trade off is worth it?

Nah, $400 a month is serious cash. Git some frozen pizzas on sale and call it a compromise.

Four hundred bucks is cheaper than divorce court and stale pizza.
