The cashier at Kroger who showed me her envelope system
Last Tuesday I was ahead of her at the self-checkout and she watched me swipe my card for the third time this week. She leaned over and showed me this worn leather envelope with cash tabs for groceries, gas, and fun stuff, said it's how she's paid off $14,000 in debt since March. Anyone else get a budgeting tip from a stranger that actually worked better than any app you tried?
