Took me 4 hours to fix my budget spreadsheet today lol

I had this one formula that kept breaking because I was merging cells like a dummy, finally figured it out after watching 3 YouTube tutorials. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon on a tiny spreadsheet error?

Man, I once wasted 6 hours on a budget spreadsheet just to realize I was summing the wrong column. Felt like a genius and a complete idiot at the same time.

Hang on, three whole YouTube tutorials? That's a whole afternoon you'll never get back, my friend. I've definitely been there with Excel though, one wrong cell reference and suddenly your total is showing the date instead of a number. Glad you got it worked out eventually.

Three hours of your life gone, just to find out you had to click "Format as Table" first. Excel really does like to gaslight you into thinking you're the problem.
