Bought a $35 leather cover on Etsy and it completely changed my bujo flow

I was using a cheap Amazon notebook for months and kept getting annoyed that the pages were curling up on the edges. Finally grabbed a proper cover from a shop called BirchAndLeather last week and it keeps everything flat and the pen loop actually holds a thick pen. Has anyone else found a specific accessory that just makes their spread feel more solid?

Oh man, the curling pages thing drove me crazy too lol. I had a cheap spiral notebook where the top corner would just flip up and then the ink would smear when I closed it. So yeah, getting a cover that actually holds everything flat makes such a difference. Once I got a leather cover with a good pen loop it felt like my spreads finally had some weight to them. It's wild how one small change can make the whole process feel way more solid, right?

Bought a $10 A5 grid notebook from Target back in April and the paper was so slick that my fountain pen ink literally took two days to dry. Picked up a pack of three Leuchtturm1917 notebooks from a guy on Craigslist for twenty bucks and the difference is night and day. The pages have a nice tooth to them and my ink dries in about thirty seconds. The paper is thicker too so there's no ghosting even with a wet medium nib. Sometimes it's not the fancy cover that matters, it's what's underneath.
