Color coding by time of day fixed my messy monthly spread

I kept skipping my monthly log because the whole page felt like a wall of tiny tasks. Last month I grabbed three highlighters, one for morning, one for afternoon, one for evening stuff, and color coded each entry as I wrote it. Now I can glance and see if Tuesday is mostly morning errands or a late night thing. It took maybe 2 minutes extra per day and my monthly review finally makes sense. Anyone else use colors for time blocks instead of categories?
