Debate: Should you draw your weekly spreads in advance or day by day?
My buddy Mike told me last week he draws his whole month in one sitting and says it saves him 30 minutes a week. But I think that kills the whole point of bullet journaling being flexible and reactive to your mood. What side are you on, do you plan ahead or wing it as you go?

Draw out a full month and see how much you end up erasing or flipping past blank pages. I tried planning two weeks ahead once. Ended up with half a dozen unused daily spreads because my schedule got flipped upside down. Planning day by day keeps that book feeling alive. Adaptable. Like it's working for you, not the other way around.

Planning day by day keeps that book feeling alive" is such a good way to put it. I think I spend more time doodling in the margins than actually planning half the time anyway, it's like my journal has a mind of its own.
