Digital planner vs paper spread, my switch back took 3 weeks

I ran a full digital setup on my tablet for like 4 months, thought it was the future. But I kept losing my place and the battery died during a meeting in Portland so I grabbed a cheap A5 notebook from the drugstore. Now I'm back to pen and paper and honestly my monthly layout is way easier to tweak. Anyone else bounce between the two and land back on physical spreads for good?

…and honestly the whole "digital is better for the environment" thing is what got me to try it too. But I saw a study where someone calculated the energy used to keep a tablet charged for a year vs making paper and it was way closer than people think. Plus I get that satisfying feeling of crossing tasks off with a pen, nothing beats it. My system now is a paper planner for the big picture and I just snap a photo of the week when I need it on my phone.

Figure out the real math first @elizabethg18. That tablet gets used for years, not one charge cycle. Paper planners need replacing every single year. Plus you're printing that photo of your week anyway, so you're still using paper, just with extra steps.
