Digital vs paper tracker comparison - paper won easily
I spent all of January trying to track my water intake with a habit app on my phone. It kept sending me notifications at random times and I just kept swiping them away. Then I switched to a simple water drop tracker drawn in my bujo with just a pen and ruler. I fill in each drop with blue marker when I finish a glass and I actually remember to do it now. The physical act of coloring it in makes me want to hit my goal. Has anyone else had a tracker format totally change your follow through?

Paper trackers feel more satisfying for some reason.

Honestly, is it really that deep? People act like jotting down numbers on paper changes the whole game or something. It's still just tracking your spending, just with more steps and a pen that might run out of ink. Feels like romanticizing a chore. Probably just nostalgia goggles or something.

Oh man, that reminds me of when I tried to go full digital for a month and ended up drawing little charts on napkins because my brain just wouldn't click with a screen. Sometimes the messy, tactile stuff just sticks better.
