Had a chat with my mom about her bullet journal last week
She showed me her journal from 2018 and it was just dates and tasks, nothing fancy. Then she flipped to last month and she's got these little doodles and stickers marking the days she called me. Made me wonder if I should be adding more personal wins to my own spreads instead of just work stuff. Anyone else start tracking things like that after someone pointed it out?

That "called my mom" sticker idea hit me hard (in a good way). Three years ago I started a tiny "good things" column in the corner of my weekly spread and it's wild how much it changed things. Like last month I wrote down "fixed the leaky faucet myself" and "my cat sat on my lap for 15 minutes" right next to "Q4 inventory review" and "pay electric bill." The little wins feel just as important now. I even color code them - blue for people stuff, green for personal growth, yellow for random happy moments. Makes flipping back through feel less like looking at a chore list and more like a scrapbook of my actual days.

Started doing that after a friend asked why my journal looked like a work log. Now I add little notes like "finally finished that book" or "had lunch with Sam" alongside my tasks. Makes the whole thing feel more like my actual life instead of just a to-do list.
