I wasted $50 on a fancy stencil set for my bullet journal

I bought this pack of 10 stencils online because I thought it would make my weekly spreads look so neat. But the stencils were way too thick, so ink kept bleeding under them and making everything messy. I tried using them with fine tip pens and markers, but nothing worked right. Now they just sit in a drawer and I use a ruler and a sharpie like always. Has anyone else had trouble with those thick plastic stencils?

I wasted $50" is rough, man. I saw some YouTube video where a journaling lady tested a ton of those thick stencils and said the same thing about ink bleeding under them. For what it's worth, I've had better luck with the really thin flexible plastic ones you can get at craft stores for like five bucks. Your mileage may vary, but the cheap ones seem to lay flat against the paper way better. Now you know for next time, I guess.

Did you ever try using a spray adhesive to keep them in place?
