My 'simple' habit tracker layout turned into a two-hour design nightmare

I wanted a clean grid for tracking water intake and reading last week, so I grabbed a ruler. The lines kept coming out crooked, and I erased so much the paper started to tear. I finally got it right, but what should have taken 15 minutes ate up my whole evening. Has anyone else had a basic spread spiral out of control like that?

But Eric, sometimes the fun part is actually the worst part. It can turn into a huge mess that nobody wants to deal with. Calling it fun is just being nice about a real headache.

Ever notice how people call a disaster "an adventure" later? Honestly I read that it's just how our brains try to make a bad memory nicer. Tbh it feels like calling a leaky roof charming character.
