Sticking with pencil for my monthly tracker paid off big time

Everyone says fancy pens are better, but my simple pencil let me fix mistakes without stress and kept my journal actually useful.

For real, my pencil saved my habit tracker too, makes fixing mistakes no big deal.

My weekly log is a total mess of scribbles sometimes... switching from daily to weekly tracking mid-month. A pencil lets me redraw the whole layout without that permanent ink guilt.

But what if making everything erasable actually holds you back? When I commit with ink, it forces me to take my plans seriously instead of just sketching ideas I might toss out. That pencil guilt you avoid is the exact thing that makes my weekly log mean something, because I can't just wipe away a bad day. Ink mistakes aren't failures, they're a honest record of what really happened. A page in pencil feels like a practice run, but ink makes it count like a real document. Why spend time tracking if it's all just temporary anyway?
