Swapped my monthly layout for a weekly one halfway through the year
I started 2025 with a big fancy monthly spread with habit trackers and mood charts, but by March I wasn't using half of it. So I switched to a simple two-page weekly layout with just a task list and a tiny weather doodle box. It's way less pretty but I actually fill it out every day now. Has anyone else ditched their original plan mid-year and felt better about it?

You ever see someone try to track their water intake for like three days then give up? My buddy Sarah had a whole color coded system and by May she was just writing "stuff" in the boxes haha.

Man, that is so relatable. My buddy Dave tried that exact same thing a couple years back. He bought a fancy notebook with little water drop stickers and everything. By the second week he just gave up and started drinking soda again because he said it was too much work. Now he just says "I drink when I'm thirsty" and leaves it at that.

Started off the year with a bullet journal that had more color coding than a rainbow. By April the only thing consistent was the doodle of a sad coffee cup in the corner. Good for you for ditching the pretty stuff, I ended up just writing "did stuff" in big letters across the whole page. My habit tracker became more of a spot the missing days game by the end.
