Took me 6 years to realize I was indexing my collections wrong

I finally figured out why my monthly review felt useless. I was sorting my task list by urgency instead of by what actually moved the needle for my projects. Saw a video from this guy in Ohio who showed his setup, and it hit me that I'd been making a to-do list, not a bullet journal. Has anyone else had that moment where they were basically doing a fancy planner the whole time?

Wait, so you were making a list but calling it a journal this whole time? That's like me using a fancy spreadsheet but still forgetting half my appointments. Sorting by urgency instead of importance is a trap, it just makes you feel busy. Once I flipped mine to "what gets me closer to done" it was night and day. Took you 6 years though, I bet that Ohio guy is kicking himself for not charging more.
