Update: I started putting my weekly task list on a sticky note inside my journal cover.
My problem was that I kept forgetting to check my weekly spread, so the tasks just sat there. I tried putting a small sticky note on the inside front cover with just my top three things for the day. After doing this for a month, I actually finish those tasks way more often because I see the note every time I open the book. It's a simple fix, but it really helped me. Has anyone else found a small trick like this to make their system work better for them?

Yeah, that reminds me of a buddy who swore by his fancy planner but never opened it. He started leaving a single index card on his steering wheel with one big thing to do after work. Couldn't miss it, right? Said it was the only way he stopped forgetting to stop at the store or call his mom. Makes you wonder why we make things so hard on ourselves sometimes.

Honestly, I'm stuck on the part where you actually check your weekly spread. I gave up on that ages ago. My whole planner is basically a graveyard of good intentions. The sticky note trick is genius though, because it forces you to see it. I might have to steal that idea, because my current system is just me forgetting what I wrote down five minutes later.
